A linear actuator includes a spindle, a main nut, and a safety nut which cooperates with the main nut. The apparatus has a frame, a foam material feed, a foam material cutter assembly, a foam material holder, a foam material inserter, and a controller which controls and coordinates the operation of the aforesaid. The invention also comprises the coating material thus formed.
