An automatic celestial navigation system for navigating both night and day by observation of K-band or H-band infrared light from multiple stars. The catalyst component is prepared by reacting an activated magnesium halide composite support with a halogenized transition metal compound and a chelating diamide compound in the presence of organo-magnesium as a promoting agent and halogenized silicon or boron compounds as an activator. Advantageously the highest capacitance or the highest resistance is left unintegrated. These two images are subtracted after registration, and the subtracted image is displayed.
