A system and technique for detecting a device that requires power is implemented with a power detection station. In one embodiment, the article warmer comprises a warming enclosure and a heat transfer portion that conducts heat from the diverted water to the article to be heated. The shank includes an outer surface with a thread provided thereon, an end having a cutting tip provided thereon, and a bore extending inwardly from the end and having an internally threaded region provided therein. This process repeats until the pinhole ultimately closes, and then the last interval that did not cause the pinhole to close is selected for use. The method may include transmitting ultrasonic energy through an interface membrane into the fluid and receiving ultrasonic energy reflected from the object.
