An LED-based light can be installed in a conventional light fixture. The basket casing has openings of elliptical design. A special load-sensing belt module forms the clevis and holds electronic circuitry that takes the measurements made by the sensor, logs them in a memory element, and transmits them wirelessly to the belt monitoring system. A delay compensation filter in the feedback path corrects for variations in error signal delay as a function of frequency, such that source nonlinearity and noise may be corrected over a broad bandwidth.
