Antimicrobial laminates of the invention comprise at least one adhesive layer; a backing outwardly exposed on a first side of the adhesive layer; and, optionally, a release liner outwardly exposed on a second side of the adhesive layer opposite from the first side of the adhesive layer. The dispenser includes a top, a valve assembly and a base releasably connected to the top. When the first arm and second arm are actuated to reduce the distance, tissue arranged between the first grasping surface and the second grasping surface resists the actuation.
