The compound 1–4,4-dimethyl-5-oxo-4,5-dihydro-1H-pyrazol-1-ylpiperidin-1-yl}-2-oxoethyl)pyrrolidine-2,5-dione is a novel effective inhibitor of the type 4 phosphodiesterase. Consequently, the amorphous region’s density is lowered, resulting in a more flexible final product, while the crosslinked molecular structure andor crystalline portion of the polymer, which controls the strength of the base polymer, remains strong. The ribs are discontinuous in a circumferential direction extending around the central section.
