A purified, soluble lymphocyte-derived antimicrobial protein that has a molecular weight of 16 kD on SDS-PAGE, is inactivated by heating at 56 C. The tone ring has a protective layer which enables it to withstand the combination of extreme heat and harsh environmental conditions to which it is exposed during operation of the vehicle. The first method determines the matrix coefficients assuming equal probability for all high-symmetry projections.
