Blends of polycarbonate and copolyester that are capable of being extrusion blow-molded are described. The compositions include nanoparticles formed of a hydrophobic polymeric core, hydrophilic linking agents bound to the core, and biofunctional materials bound to the linking agents. The cover member is an escutcheon for covering direct sight of the fastening member from that side.
