A method and system for controlling a blasting network for use where spurious command signals may be passed through a blasting controller to the blasting network, for example when the controller is connected to the Internet or Intranet. A drain valve prevents drawing air back through the drain line by only opening periodically just sufficiently to partially discharge accumulated oil and any solid debris with only minimal return air entering through the drain. The hub disk extends radially inward to the area of the outside circumference of the hub, where it is connected directly to the hub. Aspects of the exemplary embodiment include using a first one of the radio interfaces for transferring data with an access point; and simultaneously using a second one of the radio interfaces for receiving scan data to search for a new access point.
