A tire pressure reporting and warning system employs low-cost passive magnetically coupled pressure senders within the tires. The treatment involves, in part, preparing a substrate to accept an attachment of charged moieties, and a number of stabilized peroxide compounds on at least part of a surface of said substrate. The first and second vertical leg members each have an opening configured to receive at least one strand of the at least one layer of reinforcement material.
