A lubricating system for a heavy-duty material processing shears provides lubricant to one of more wear surfaces on one or more wear portions in the shears. The at least one electro active polymer element includes an electrode. In particular, digital image data is scrambled before or after being compressed and is subsequently descrambled after being decompressed and prior to display such that unauthorized use of the image content is prevented. A disclosed example includes acquiring a plurality of reference images corresponding to different lighting conditions and using an appropriate one of the reference images based upon a lighting condition or time of day associated with a subsequently acquired image.
