Conversely, when the AC motor produces an excessively generated power exceeding a regeneratable power quantity of the AC motor, a consuming operation is performed for intentionally increasing the power loss in the AC motor. The memory cell is formed in a high-impedance state, in which little or no current flows between the conductors on application of a read voltage. The processor employs an algorithm for analyzing the electrical signals and providing a control signal based on such analysis. This improves the dynamic response of the switching converter to changing load conditions, thereby improving overall power efficiency and performance of the system.
