An inflatable domed pool bladder for use when winterizing swimming pools is herein disclosed, comprising a large inflatable bladder which covers the entire pool surface wherein a center of the dome is higher than the sides. The connectors are designed to maintain or restore mechanical and sealing engagement following expansion. The posts thus permit the support of rails that are not restricted to a straight, horizontal orientation and provide and improved overall appearance.
