A driver capable of launching signals into a transmission line and of terminating signals at a receiver end of the transmission line includes within the driver a circuit for controlling the output impedance and a circuit for controlling the output slew rate. The two foreign elements include one from group A and one from group B, where group A includes Cr, Mo, W, or Nd, group B includes Pt, Zr, Pd, Ni, Ti, Hf, Ce and Th, and group C includes Zr, Pd, Ni, Ti, Hf, Ce and Th. Based on the explicitly defined relations, implicit relations among people and organizations can also be extracted. For each respective hypothetical diffractor location, the method may then search for coherent diffraction arrivals on nearby 2-D seismic lines consistent with the respective hypothetical diffractor location.
