The invention relates to a rear parcel shelf system for a convertible vehicle with a hard folding roof. A molten polymer is injected into the grooves and allowed to solidify. The sunken seat cushion serves to encourage a user to attain proper posture and further serves to reduce the chances that a user might fall forward out of the seat.
