The present invention is drawn to pyrrolopyridinium derivatives having a new structural skeleton, preferably containing an intramolecular hemiacetal, which is clearly different from any known Advanced Glycation Endproduct and which, when present in an organism, has a bioactivity unlike the conventional AGE. The components can be combined for a complete standalone system or as a kit for assembly. The vane members are pivotable about axes disposed between the forward and rear ends thereof, and are movable between an open position wherein they are in substantially parallel relation and a closed position wherein their forward ends are in engagement with each other and their rear ends are in engagement with the adjacent inner surface of the nozzle housing.
