To reduce the contrast fluid and X-ray load on patients during interventional procedures, a real-time visualization architecture combines 2D live images with 3D reconstructed volume information. Mobile device games can be constructed via a website from customizable atomic rule-based units, and also supports the reuse and remixing of game components by the game creator, members of an online community, or by any other user. This method suppresses the effects of thermal variations across the anatomy, and of severe scattering loss from buried tissues, that limit current thermographic methods.
