The length of the scarf is sufficient to cover pillows placed on a made bed of standard size, with the opposite first and second ends reaching opposite first and second edges of the bed. A variety of signaling devices may be used and preferably are portable and carried about by individuals so that a separate mechanical switch need not be made part of the physical conveyor system.
