A micro spectrophotometer is monolithically constructed on a silicon substrate. The housing surrounds an interior, which has a cylindrical portion in which a cylindrical portion of the insulator sits. In another embodiment, the spring is formed into a coil or helix with a wire wrapped around at least a portion of the helical spring. The method uses a modified Landau-Lifshitz-Gilbert equation to obtain a critical current value as a function of exchange coupling constant. Also disclosed is a pollutant decomposition system used in such a process.
