A system and method for fuel metering in a motor vehicle in which the fuel in a reservoir has a definable pressure. The process comprises reacting a compound of formula PX3 with a compound of formula HNR2R3 to form a compound of formula X\u2014P2; and reacting the compound of formula X\u2014P2 with a compound of formula R1\u2014Y1\u2014H in the presence of a hydrocarbon solvent to form the compound of formula R1\u2014Y1\u2014P2. Each face has Graphical User Interface controls for a unique function set.
