An electrostatic chuck support mechanism is disclosed. The tubular material is composed of a super-elastic nickel titanium alloy which may also have shape memory. The fluid-filled catheter pressure transducer allows pressure measurements to be taken in vessels smaller than 1 mm in diameter. A channel extends through the cylindrical tube and the tapered tube, and is aligned with the longitudinal axis. Thus, the stabilized oxide layer is highly chemically stable and has a high chemical resistance. The invention provides R\u2014Fe\u2014B sintered magnets which exhibit high magnet performance despite minimal amounts of Tb and Dy used.
