The operating characteristics of a dynamic comparator is used to automatically change the resolution of a sloped or ramped analog-to-digital converter by switching the comparator on and off between first and second clock frequencies and comparing the amplitude of a sampled input signal against a ramp input signal. The sensor array comprises a plurality of working electrodes electrically associated with a reference electrode, each working electrode in combination with the reference electrode forming a transducer. A process inputoutput device for electrically communicating with a process input or a process output may also be included. The transparent conductive lines extend from the display area to the non-display area. The feed waveguide feeds the RF signal to the radiation waveguides through coupling slots.
