A method and system for synchronizing an input signal for a power system. A body-voltage sense circuit short pulse reading circuit is described using body connected load transistors and a novel sensing circuit with second stage amplifier which allows for very short read pulses providing much higher read margins, less sensing time, and shorter sensing current pulses. The pad unit is bonded to an object at a desirable rotation angle, and controlled such that the rotation angle is fixed by the movement of a piston operating via compressed air. Furthermore, a control valve is disclosed for a camshaft adjuster with a corresponding filter element.
