The present exemplary embodiment relates to a job integrity and verification system which uses patches comprised of at least one symbology printed in non-visible ink and attached to the individual components of a job. Information regarding these and, optionally, other parameters is coded and transmitted as a short burst wireless transmission to an interface unit. An audit trail stream, properties stream and fix-up stream may also be provided.
