A new function for calculating the reciprocal residual of a floating-point number X is defined as recip_residual=1\u2212X*recip, where recip represents the reciprocal of X. Using this system a type of Duplex Mutational Vector termed a Heteroduplex Mutational Vector, was shown to be more active in prokaryotic cells than the types of mutational vectors heretofore tested. A processing unit processes the betting requests in the order of reception.
