In a semiconductor memory computer equipped with a flash memory, use of backed-up data is enabled. In a preferred embodiment, the invention arbitrates access to flash memory on a HBA between multiple host channels and HBA microprocessors, and eliminates contention possibilities for the flash during write cycles by the allowing a grant to be locked for a period defined by the flash write protocol and timing. All of the configurations are distinguished by having a bending region requiring more force to twist or malform the staple than is required to properly form the staple. The shaft is also in communication with an energy adapter disposed within the drill but assembly and is adapted to use relative motion between the body portion and the shaft to provide power to at least one downhole device. The vertical segments can be mounted on a device for rotational movement within the main portion.
