A method of electrical fault determination using the phase angle information of all the currents entering and leaving a protection zone, to determine whether a fault, if any, is internal or external to the protection zone. The system comprises a beverage line connectable to a beverage supply for transporting beverage from the beverage supply through a conduit to a beverage dispense valve at a dispensation site, and a cooling line for transporting a cooling medium through the conduit so as to allow heat exchange between the cooling medium in the cooling line and the beverage in the beverage line. The gear portions are exposed to an internal surface of the casing so as not to obstruct oil circulation. The method and apparatus are particularly beneficial when employed with gaseous fuels. Optionally, a sensor component may include one or more electrode that is disposed in the fluid path to contact fluid therein for electrically-based interrogation.
