The present invention is directed to a system and method for presenting navigational directions using a combination of a mobile communication device, such as a cellular phone, and a complementary device, such as a vehicular navigational or display device. The latching device has a journal provided with a recess and a locking element that can be moved crosswise, preferably perpendicular, to a longitudinal axis of the journal. A pushrod is mechanically connected between a trike frame and a trike swing arm, and actuates the valve in order to maintain the distance between the trike frame and the trike swing arm at a factory pre-set value. The use of overmolding facilitates the use of cost-saving plastic materials, and obviates the need for expensive machining of the cooperating surfaces.
