The invention describes a tunable filter arrangement with at least two resonators which are coupled to one another and of which at least one is connected to a capacitor with tunable capacitance. The system comprises a sensor array and a central monitoring system. The methods and compositions described herein are especially useful in the production of polycarboxylic acids by yeast cells.
