Disclosed herein is a smoker with multiple separate drawers for smoking meat, fish, sausage, etc. The described system is configured for use with dental x-ray, medical imaging and treatment, and customary and digital radiography apparatus, but is not restricted to such apparatus or applications. The machined spring of the present invention provides enhanced structural accuracy which, in turn, leads to the elimination of lateral and side loads as compared to prior art wire-wound helical springs.
