The linehaul optimization algorithm is a hybrid algorithm incorporating the basic structure of the Hungarian Assignment algorithm or equivalent and an improvement heuristic. The method includes supplying a coating substance to at least part of a surface of a substrate. When a fault exists, a test signal is transmitted to sub-processors via a dedicated signal line, separate from the one-way bus, to trigger a test packet that will be routed through the one way bus.
