The invention relates to a device for checking pharmaceutical products, in particular hard gelatin capsules, by means of at least one radiation source preferably embodied as an X-ray source, and a conveying device which conveys the products in a clocked manner in a radiation area of the radiation source. In one embodiment of the invention, the point in the delay circuit at which an input clock signal enters the delay circuit is adjusted to vary the delay of an output clock signal. Signal information received on the associated channel is manipulated as needed to conform to the format of the channel of interest, such as the encoding format, and then decoded as if it had been received on the channel of interest. The user inputs a time frame and identifies specific reporting entities. Classes referenced by the substitute class names are then instantiated in lieu of classes referenced by the original class names.
